Refresh

Can I get a ctrl+alt+Delete on the last few weeks? I said I was going back to juicing but yeah.... I never fully did what I had intended to do. I just couldn't get my booty in gear to fully commit. I did add a lot more juice back into my diet. At least 1 juiced drink per day full of veggies and a few fruits.

My dad also got me started on a morning juice shot of 1/2 a green apple and a little ginger. Wow. talk about a morning wake up! Ginger is spicy! In a small shot it isn't so hard to swallow. I'm not sure I really notice a big difference, but I figure it can't hurt.

Last night, I had a dream that I was so determined to exercise that I got a tattoo on the top of my hand between my thumb and first finger that just said "LIVE.". I couldn't go for any amount of time during my day without seeing it and being constantly reminded of my unfinished goals. It was a very clear image when I woke up this morning. I almost got out a sharpie, because it was such powerful imagery. 

So that got me pumped to quick slacking off and get started. I've been putting it off, but I think exercise is really the key factor that I never stay consistent with when it comes to really trying to lose weight. ick. don't like it. I will never be a gym rat that just HAS to exercise. And I'm pretty sure that I could quit cold turkey on any given day.... buuuuut I want to lose weight. And I know its good for my body. I got up this morning, had my juice and ginger shot, put on my workout clothes (checked pinterest in a attempt to procrastinate a bit) and then got to working out. I did 20 minutes aerobic exercising and then walked 10 minutes on the treadmill.  I was sweaty, but feeling good. Then I showered and used a body wash that I don't use very often. Whether it was because I actually did it or because I knew it was over for today, I felt good and proud of myself.

I don't quite have a plan for a workout schedule yet... I think I'm just going to try this for a while. Any suggestions on what days I should do cardio?... some weights maybe?

My goals: In 3 months I have a family vacation scheduled and we're going to DISNEY WORLD!! ack! I'm so excited I can barely stand it! I want to be fit and able to handle the walking for a week straight.... and I've set a goal to lose 22 pounds before then. I know this number might be kind of high but I think its doable and it would put my weight down to be lower than I can ever remember it being. The only thing is... if I want to reach it, I gotta get moving now! No slacking off and no whining. Its do or don't and the only one who can do it is me. Keep my in your prayers if you think about it. I need to focus and work on making exercise part of my daily life.

Any advice on exercise or good apps, good music... Its all appreciated :) Thanks!
